Didn’t get to the front as expected, and never had a chance at any stage, eventually finished 5th.

Not able to do each way on 2nd bet as one of the races has less than 5 runners, so win trebles at minimum stakes.

I backed this last night thinking it will shorten in morning, but it has kept going other way. It’s out to 18/1 now, such a huge drift is not a good sign, I don’t understand it but I see Mark Johnston’s other two runners today are also big drifters.

I think 14/1 was because they weren’t expecting Cyrname to run at Aintree. Even now he is not a definite starter, as far as I know all they have said is that Aintree is one of the options.

Win bet finishes 2nd, each way bet 4th, this is becoming too predictable now lol.

Well spotted, CMB. Highest price on Betfair exchange was 20 but only about £30 matched at that price. It is definitely being backed though as about 25% of all money has been traded on this horse which is higher than what has been traded on horses ahead of him in betting.

Starts handicap on a low enough mark and significantly up in trip, trainer isn’t known for great improvement on handicap debuts, 8 winners from 104 on handicap debut (-14 LSP), but it improves to 3 from 30 when they are stepping up in trip by 2 furlongs or more.
