It was interesting reading the comments for previous races of the winner, always towards rear, always towards rear, always towards rear....
  • 3:05 very long shot
    Tailed off again.

    Good priced winner, well done.
  • 3:05 very long shot
Lol they have pushed it to 80/1 for 4 places, so that can’t be a good sign.

Cheers Herbie. 25/1 I saw was with Betfair sportsbook not exchange, but yes I see total of only £7000 matched so far on whole race so probably not taking much to move the price.

I can’t see any sites reporting it as a steamer, but I did see the 25/1 with Betfair earlier, might have been a mistake, maybe someone can confirm it.
  • 6:25 Chelmsford
Thanks, CMB. Had every chance from the front, and I thought she might steal it but got caught close home, happy with 3rd place and a small profit though.

    All 3 unplaced today.

Just one runner tomorrow, and it’s Archimedes trying to complete a c&d hat trick having won the last two here. I haven’t yet decided whether I am going to back it or not, but will put the facts up to help others decide for themselves. He has gone up to a mark of 67, previous highest he has ever won off is 66 so needs to produce a career best. He is clearly in form, against some out of form horses, this is actually weaker race than the last one but that means he has to carry a huge weight of 10-2. No prices available yet. I will need to see the prices and also look at race in greater detail before deciding whether to bet or not.

    7:15 race

Griffiths has 3 runners tomorrow, and on paper all 3 look up against it but I have had small bets on 2 of them.

1:45 Southwell - Bawtry Lady (33/1), she is only rated 49 and has to race against a few of these rated in 60s and 70s tomorrow so this is no easy task, but she does seem to like this surface as has outrun her big odds on all 3 runs here including when placed 3rd at 50/1. Drops to 5 furlongs for first time which is probably worth a try, and I have had a small each way on this.

4:25 Chelmsford - Mystical Moon (25/1), yet to place from 11 starts and it seems they are still trying to work out what her distance is, had no chance in novice events last twice but ran ok enough and this is even weaker than her last handicap so nothing is impossible. Tries the polytrack for first time tomorrow and that will need to bring about improvement. Small each way more in hope than expectation.

5:25 Chelmsford - Red Cymbal (33/1), his only win to date came at this track in a novice race, but that’s the only positive I can see as he continues to run disappointingly. This is only slightly weaker than last race, but he was beaten too badly. I have left this one, but knowing my luck this will probably be the one that wins lol.

Don’t worry, CMB. One of those days, wide draw probably didn’t help. I did have a small bet on it despite it not going out to the price I wanted, but had a saver on winner.

Good luck with last one, I haven’t had a bet in the race.

Good luck, CMB. I have been considering a bet on Arlecchino’s Arc, I am hoping that it will drift a bit more (trainer’s other runner in the race is being backed from 20/1 into 9/1). In October, AA had finished couple of lengths ahead of one of today’s favourites Embers Glow (who in turn holds Singing The Blues on last week’s form) from 1 lb worse terms, so he definitely has the form to go close. He does have the outside stall to contend with though, and that’s what I am hoping will make his price drift, but they can win from stall 14 here.

    Good start.
  • 5:45 Kempton
Lost 4th place on the line, not my day.
  • 5.15
These races are not easy, even when you feel that the favourite is a false one as I did about Trapani.
  • 5.15
Worried about Seeusoon, now that one has really been smashed in betting.
  • 5.15
Good luck, I am on this too. Have a single and also in a double with Pactolus who won earlier so fingers crossed.
  • MJS SYSTEM SELECTIONS
This is a very good turnaround after the poor start, well done and keep going.
  • 6:15 Newcastle long shot
Dynamo Walt finishes 4th, so profit made on extra place market. Well done, Stainless with the 2nd too.

Sorry I didn’t post it, I really didn’t think he had a chance because this wasn’t a handicap, he had to run off level weights against the winner who is rated 17 lbs higher, so you are right - Ornate has run a cracker.

    No runners for Griffiths tomorrow.

    Superb, very well done.
