BEST of the BETS

Good luck. It was on my shortlist from among the non-Gordon Elliott horses. Elliott has won the race for last 4 years and he has got half the field again with 11 runners. I have had a little interest in General Principle, hoping he will be fit enough first time.

Also interesting in the 1:30 race, Share The Honour has started at big prices in all 5 of his Hurdle races so far and been beaten 20+ lengths on all of them. He is favourite today, and I wonder if it’s a typical Tony Martin plot.

Take a look at morning price and SP of winners, 6 of them were big movers, and other two also finished shorter than morning price. Shows how important betting is at Wolverhampton, trouble is there is usually more than one horse being gambled in a race.

Kirby has ridden 4 winners tonight, only one he got beaten on was the one I backed, so no doubt he will lose this one too lol.

David O’Meara has better chances later on the card but I think Me Before You could also run well in this at a big price.

Snapdragon Fire won @ 7/2. Level for the day, now to try and get ahead I have backed MODUS (6/1) in 3:15 Ascot, did well to win after a break last time, 4 lbs higher today but hopefully there is more to come.

1:40 Huntingdon - can’t split CUBSWIN and SNAPDRAGON FIRE in this, so they should be two to avoid lol. I have ditched them.

Unlucky with the placers mate, but as long as they run well it’s still good.
