BEST of the BETS

Almost a complete loss on the multiple bet, would have been only a small loss if backed as singles as Blue Mist won @ 9/2. Unlucky with a couple of others, especially Collinsbay who somehow managed to lose after going 1/33 in running, Jet Set Go also a close 2nd.

Sleeping Lion also a non runner.

Stake back on No Nonsense. Kasbaan (80/1) ran a blinder but was unfortunately on the wrong side and I feel that cost him a place, just missed out on 5th, I should have shopped around and backed with a bookie paying 6 places.

Ryan Moore, Jim Crowley and Kieran O’Neill are the jockeys I have picked out today. O’Neill May seem a strange choice as he hasn’t been riding many winners, but truth is he has got very few fancied rides lately and there are different ways of looking at form. It is Saturday today, so have to be careful as it’s very competitive, I will be happy if most of these place.

Kensington Art also wins (5/2), got 3 and half times my stake back on e/w multi. Quite pleased with how the new method performed today, 3 winners from 5 (4 from 6 if I count the one I missed) and the two losers also had a live chance in their races, over 10 points profit if backed as singles, whether it’s a fluke or there is some merit in it we will find out soon. I will give this another try tomorrow, though Saturdays are often weird days for results.

2 winners (6/1 & 9/4) and a 2nd so far, but Global Exceed ruined the bet by finishing only 5th despite going odds on in running. Would have been better off backing as singles.

No good today. Walkin In The Rain was travelling sweetly and went as short as 1.9 in Running, but found absolutely nothing, not even placed.

Ardera Cross drifted to 12/1 and only 3rd (unplaced). Brotherly Company is a non runner so have put the full stake on Walkin In The Rain.
