Superb stuff Hippo..Unfortunately didn't do them as I had a disaster yesterday and need to stop gambling (again !). Sods law. I looked at the first 8/1 shot and nearly lapsed but vowed not to bet. They will probably all go and win now! Great write up though.

Hi Hippo..I agree with you regarding the underpricing. I usually only back his if he raids the Northern tracks in big money handicaps. The first one ran pretty poorly today but I quite fancy Karnavaal. Should be about 4/1 but I wont be going mad on it.

It would be interesting to see if there are any other "fun systems " that the members have heard of. I remember the one on here was to bet a horse that had 3 letters in its name which had to be one word only and be in the first 4 in the betting. Also recall the 3rd letter in the name had be R. system.Both systems would throw up a few winners. Another I wrote down somewhere was where you added the top and bottom weights in handicaps then made some simple maths calculations which slip my mind for the moment. I will dig it up and post it. Nice to know if there are many more of these old chestnuts about .

Sounded plausible until I read that the coins had to be mined by a computer..from a mine that presumably only existed in thin air..well even I'm not that green ! A bit like when everyone woke up the fact that last minute.com was basically an online travel agent and not the second coming. True saying." There's one born every minute "and luckily for the con artists..most of them live !
