You're right about different bookmakers.
I tend to look at odds comparison sites like "oddschecker" to get a feel for it.

The horse that finished 3rd was too close in the betting to make the race qualify.
I did end up betting that race, though, with a Tote trifecta. Had the fav to finish
first or second with the other two horses - 4 combinations - got 15/8 for my money :party:
Would have paid much more if My Mate Roger had gotten up - he nearly did :gasp:

Not neglecting this thread, but there are no qualifying bets out there right now.
Short fields in non-handicap races make it difficult. Patience required.
Will post next when there's a bet.
