• newcastle ridiculous 830 long one
I’m on that too. Done that and Arnold which someone posted up earlier is expected to go well.
  • 340 tuesday
It was as open a race as it originally looked. Can’t help but love a big field handicap.
  • Arnold in the last @ Newcastle..
I’m on Someone Exciting but will have a small e/w on Arnold. Cheers

Tough race but I’ve gone for a couple at big e/w prices: Movie Star @11s (Spencer has a great record at Yar and reasonably well handicapped over best trip IMO) and Lily Ash @ 16s (C&D winner off this mark last October, ran well on reappearance over this trip and then found 10f a bit sharp/race maybe too soon LTO).

    Good luck!
  • Wow!
One other thing that made me look twice when looking at this late last night was the over round at SP - running at > 135%.

Basically, the front 2 in the betting accounted for 99%; seemed really high given Arizona went off at 5/1 and is a Coventry winner. That said Pina won like a 1/3 shot!!

Stunning performance that. Was the way he quickened up rather than pulling away over an extended distance which is more often the case with wide margin winners.

Great win for the charity Hippo, well done!

Good luck mate, hope you find the winners today more than ever! Great gesture by your contact.

Who’s doing 5 places Joe? Only 12 runners now so will it drop to 4 on the t&c’s? Cheers

Shocking month so far but feel reasonably confident on today’s NAP:

Good shout that Joe. Owner was confident on quick ground. I had it in a small double with Ninjago at Carlisle but nothing doing with that one (think yours won didn’t it?). Also had it double’s with Arccelino’s Leap in the last at Kempton - long shot but Watson has won 3/4 on him and on a decent mark if he goes ok on the track (decent draw at least).

Cheers and keep up the good run!

Unlucky Joe. I’m giving up for a few days; been a poor week on the horses.
  • Tuesday
Nice winner that for Crisford. Not sure on the times but looked useful. Black Comedy should definitely have a race in him somewhere soon.
  • Tuesday
Likewise, I had Black Comedy noted. Be interesting to see if the money comes for it as the owner John is renowned for having his money down. He’s more selective these days with his buys but this one looks quite decent.

    Good luck Hippo.
