Yep agree with you about bookies putting in prices shorter that is why the likes of betfair has taken off. Yep best way don't bet if you don't fancy always other days. Advantage we have as punters we can bet when we are wanting to whereas a bookie has to price up every race.
  • Back on turf, better performance?

Ding dong! Nelson rose wins! Drifted to 11-4
Yes, was the answer, much better on turf! The horse I selected yesterday Alfred cove ran 2nd would have been gutted if that won, should have ran like that yesterday as if doing so it would have gone very close!

Runs again today. Not betting it.

We are betting against other punters as their bets influence price. If lots of punters lump on an even money shot it becomes odds on! Other punters determine our prices.

What do you think about this 'statement' Peregrine?

As a professional you need to understand that you are betting against other punters and not against a bookmaker. Terms such as 'beat the bookie' and players who refer to bookmakers as 'the enemy' don't reflect the mechanics of betting. Your 'enemies' are your fellow punters, and the bookmaker provides a service through which you compete with them.

True story, mate once met a thai woman called Sarah she asked him if he fancied a threesome with her and her mate. He agreed but he was a bit dissapointed when he realised there was 6 balls in the bed. Turns out they were both lady boys! Funny thing is he never ever said that he kicked them out of bed! Makes me wonder.

    ⚽⚽⚽ treble wins ⚽⚽⚽
  • Should we even be betting each way?
Far better prices on offer if you shop around and back the place instead of going each way. That's why I do a lot of win/place bets.
  • Championship dabbles
Boro...poor start to the season from Cardiff. Drew with Swansea last week and Boro beat Swansea last week so may just have the edge.

West brom...Swansea unable to beat Cardiff last week so poor form going into this game.

Leeds...won last week, more of the same? Hull have been poor stats wise so would need to improve.

Treble returns 3.58 'rough guide'. Shop around for best prices.
