  • My selections for today.
    One today

4.40 Nottingham - Good to have some competitive flat racing on the turf again and I like Mark Johnson’s Bo Samraan to be the best of the 3 years olds in this race. Up a lb since last seen in a class 2 Nursery at HQ where he ran well in a decent looking race. This looks a tad easier and given the fact Johnson’s has him extended over the quarter mile again makes me think that this is the trip. 2nd fav She’s Apple for Roger Charlton is yet to be seen competitively on the grass. My selection proabably faded close home in its last outing but I’m hoping a strong push from the front will get it home first, similar to that of the trainers Rochester House at Pontefract yesterday who won very well, making all against an odds on horse in a 3 runner. 9/4 with SkyBet currently. • Kinks
Can’t win them all Hippo. Looks as though SDS tried to bring it from off the pace but it never really settled and I don’t think it’d have won from there anyway given the way the the race finished.
  • Kinks
Horrible ride that. Market went for it before the off aswell

Cheer Hippo. Got on ew at 6s with Hills. SkyBet currently opened with Kinks as 9/2 fav.

    Good stuff mate
  • tiger roll/ bookies full of crap.
Don’t they always lose when the likes of TR win a race such as the GN though Peregrine? A race of such prestige obviously attracts casual punters/mug punters and all sorts, blind fav backers, your nan having a few quid on and so on. Same as every year. In the national especially the fav is the fav for a reason and Tiger Roll even more so after the way it won at Cheltenham. It was well publicised from a top stable, top jockey and with the national usually being a bit of a lottery it definitely wasn’t yesterday. I didn’t back Tiger Roll myself as it was far too short in a 40 runner 4 miler but in the end it wasn’t as short as the change in my pockets but I can imagine most of the casual money went on him.
  • THE GRAND NATIONAL
IIRC Tiger Roll nodded on landing over the second and third last which made the win even more impressive.

    What a powerhouse. Jesus

Didn’t realise that FLA. As I was watching it on mute. What a cracking few months for Mark Walsh. A great ride and delivery today.
