Glorious Zoff (15/2 SP) never got involved and eventually finished 5th, he did turn it around with the two he raced against last time so it turns out I overestimated the strength of that race.

Another losing month, only 10 points staked in September with returns of 5.68 pts for loss of 4.32 pts. YTD profit has continued to drop since end of June and now stands at +13.11 from 116 pts staked.

My initial feeling was right that she was more of a place chance. Flemensreva backed down to 3/1 fav, no match for clear winner but stayed on through beaten horses to grab 2nd which was no good for me.

Secret Daay (50/1 SP) finished only 9th. No excuses for him as the first 4 were all drawn middle to high. He did turn it around with Hot Scoop but that's no consolation, step up from a classified stakes to a 0-65 proved harder than I envisaged.
