Thanks Dragon2, I noticed it thanks to Owenjohn’s original post and then got reminded of it because TrainerLayer had picked this horse last week. So I will call this teamwork, we are all here to try and help each other even though things don’t always go to plan. I would love to see more of these kind of threads than people having a go at each other, which unfortunately tends to happen at times.

Only got the 9/1, but happy with that.

I see there is a bit of money for it today (14/1 into 9). It’s 5 furlongs today so at least has got his trip, all 4 AW wins have come at Southwell though. Not run at Newcastle since 2016 when 9 of 12 (beaten 5) from 9 lbs higher. I have had a small bet to see if he can win today.

Favourite’s last race may have been poor but not as poor as this, 5 runners in that field included 2 last time out winners and 1 or 2 well handicapped runners. I agree though that quick return after a heavy fall could be a concern. It’s all about opinions, and it seems a lot of people are in agreement with you as favourite has drifted to evens, and could go odds against.

Thanks, CMB. That was unlucky, Navadir must have traded at 1/20 in running if not shorter. Didn’t do each way today as when I do that they finish 4th lol, but did have a very small reverse forecast with winner.
