  • Ascendant Stakes
Very disappointing, sorry if anyone followed.
  • 2:05 Ascot
Stayed on a bit late on, but not good enough on the day, only 6th.
  • 3:45 Laytown
    Only 6th, very poor.
  • NAP OF THE DAY (SEP)
    Bet #5

    Prosecution (3:45 Laytown)

    LSP: +2.33

    Winners - 1/3, 4/1
  • 3:10 Lingfield
Backed into 4/1 and narrowly beaten in the race, but promoted to 1st in stewards room. Nice to get a bit of luck.
  • NAP OF THE DAY (SEP)
    Bet #4

    El Ghazwani (3:10 Lingfield)

    LSP : -1.67
  • 3:05 Goodwood
Allmankind ran ok to finish 3rd, profit made as I had more on place than win. And his brother won at Stratford.
  • NAP OF THE DAY (SEP)
    Bet #3

    Wells De Lune (3:55 Stratford)

    LSP: -0.67
  • 4:05 Roscommon
Backed to 3/1, but only 2nd.

Aberdon, your nap on Saturday - Glass Slippers won at 3/1, I don’t think you have added it into your returns.

Well done Ascot with your nap yesterday, was much bigger price earlier in the day.

    Bet #2

    4:05 Roscommon - Dark Conqueror

    LSP = +0.33
  • NAP OF THE DAY (SEP)
    Bet #1

    Ten Sovereigns (3:25 Curragh)
  • Best shortie of the day
Well done Fuzzyduck too, 3 winners in 3 days from him, this is turning out to be a great thread.
  • Best shortie of the day
Great shout with Up Ten Down Two, Bodger, nice price.
  • Best shortie of the day
Fancied two at short prices today, backed both but unfortunately didn’t post the first one which won (Almania). So the next one will probably lose lol.

5:35 Wolverhampton - Stringybark Creek (place only @ 13/8) is very consistent and has 50% place strike rate (8 from 16) on all weather. He has 2 wins and 2 places from 6 runs since joining David Loughnane. Has also placed 4 times from 6 previous visits here. Jockey Cameron Noble, who rides horse for first time, has a very good record for trainer (14% win & 40% place strike rate from 50 rides), place strike rate for combination goes up to 57% if you only include horses priced under 10/1 (17 wins or places from 30).

    and TRV, well done.
  • Best shortie of the day
    Well done, Fuzzyduck.

Rock On Baileys (5/4) in 3:30 Chelmsford for me, has won 3 times from 5 previous visits here, not over 7f though but has finished 2nd on only previous try at this distance. Her main opponent is running on all weather for first time. Chris Dwyer shows a 10% LSP from over 200 runners here, and his runners have a 43% Strike rate here when favourite (13 from 30, +9 LSP), this is his only runner today. De Sousa/Dwyer combination is 15/63 (+22 LSP) here.
  • Hamilton gamble and Fanning L15
Very poor with all selections today, sorry.
  • POET'S PRINCE record breaker??
Excellent write up, hope it’s rewarded with a winner, good luck. I have done a lucky 15 on Mr Fanning’s four rides, so hoping he has a good day.
  • 8:10 Bangor long shots
    Thanks all.

    Dollar And A Dream - 3rd
New Kid In Town - pulled up

Profit made. Very similar to how trainers runner last year was backed before finishing 3rd in the race. I was lucky, was going to put the bet on last night and Dollar And A Dream was 16/1 at that time but this morning Betfair SB had pushed it to 33/1 in one move before the gamble started.
