We head into Navan racecourse today with only the one runner and ERICH BLOCH runs in the first race which will allow us to get home early and watch the Ryder Cup!
This lad ran a cracker the last day when just beaten by the very much hyped O’Brien trained Old Glory. We drop down in trip as he showed plenty of early speed at Naas and being by Dandy Man it wouldn’t be unusual to see him win over this sharper trip of just under 6f. We are having a very quite and frustrating September with winners but the horses that I’m running are running their races and have just not been good enough. As always this will sort itself out and I take it as a compliment to hear folk question our form as it means they expect us to be having regular winners which as I say is very complimentary.
Here’s hoping Erich can live up to his name and show some of his name sakes fighting qualities and get us all back to winning ways.

Ok, so after research I find that you can only access ''meetings'' via mobile. I hardly use my android mobile or tablet for racing cos they are a complete pain in the ar£e. Anyway logged in to the exchange via tablet, clicked on 'meetings' - and it still only shows ISP!

Meanwhile, effing useless Timeform still hasn't done the BSP results for any race today.

Followed up with two more 2nds at 7/1 and 12/1, lastly a 3rd at 12/1 (14s posted). Betfair place updates later.

I've used my Betfair exchange account rarely over past 3 years. I've never yet been able to find past results there. All they seem to have is upcoming races. Have always relied on Timeform for BSP results. I can't find the ''meetings'' tab you refer to anywhere. I'm on the horse racing page and can't see it.

Wasn't helped by Frank being slowly away and giving the field a 5 lengths start. He tried to ease it up the field by about the halfway mark, got upsides the leader at the furlong point, pressed the button, but then in the long battle to the line I reckon that earlier effort expended made all the difference between winning and coming second.

The records here only go back 6 days, mine include 2 previous ones. From the 8 days I make it 6 won and 19 placed from 77 runners, a win/place SR of almost 33%.

At these prices (and I've been refining the selections to include mostly only 8/1 and above, and increasingly getting more of those 20/1 and over) that's more than enough to get a healthy profit on singles at Betfair SP place only, with very small stakes win doubles and trebles added, though sometimes (well, until a big win) doing the latter by splitting up selections into groups as shown previously above.

Way to go is doing the place singles at 1% of bank on each selection, stakes for next day adjusted at end of each betting day. Initial bank 200 points. For illustration purposes make it a £200 bank, thus £2 per point to start with. I probably won't be posting these on the board each say though.

Thanks guys. Ended up with Chanceiton 3rd 9/1 (20s posted). Have to say I am very pleased with the high place strike overall. The way to go seems to be Betfair place, with very small stakes (1/20th of place singles unit stakes) win doubles and trebles to hoover up the occasional win doubles and trebles, which pay big.

Will update Betfair place payouts later.

The Great Story 2nd 16/1, thought it had it won till the fav swept past in the final few yards.Earlier Hee Haw 3rd 9/2 (10s posted). 4 placers so far, already yet another profitable Betfair place day.
