I think a return for Shiskin next year and if conditions suit could be a Gold Cup contender.

I was on Galopin Des Champs, Bravemansgame and Protektorat all Antepost so better prices than the day , so had what I thought could happen covered.

On the day I have to say I was drawn heavily in favour of Galopin Des Champs and had some of the generous super boost price of 9/4 Bet365 had offered as well as a bit more on the exchanges.

I think horses4course this horse will exceed them all, if he remains fit and well.

They obvious route would be to go chasing but I like the idea of him dominating the 2 mile/ 2 mile 4 furlongs for many years to come.

Only concern is his jumping which is bang on the mark but no room for error whatsoever, but very exciting to watch and an exceptional talent.

Ran no sort of race which is bizarre but nevertheless. I got this wrong today.

Maybe he needs another 4 furlongs to his trip, who knows but Paul Nicholls had the winner and I am sure given this race now he will be wiser about Irish Hill chances at Cheltenham.
