It was given to me a couple of weeks ago at Wolverhampton from a very reliable source, so had a good bet on it, but the trainer withdrew him about two hours before the race (don't know the reason why). So nothing lost.

I was told to back him next time, so could not call it a tip or anything but went into the book for a bet next time out. :up:

In my opinion peregrine, I really think Dashel Drasher should have been disqualified from 2nd and placed 3rd.

He not only stopped the third from getting 2nd but may have been responsible for preventing the 3rd from winning the race anyway. The way the race panned out and the jockey on the 3rd had to make a split second decision.

It will be a day out for the stable of Dashel Drasher who I thought ran a cracking race but it in my opinion this will not go any further and they will not overturn this.

Oh and I backed the 3rd :joke:

I think a return for Shiskin next year and if conditions suit could be a Gold Cup contender.

I was on Galopin Des Champs, Bravemansgame and Protektorat all Antepost so better prices than the day , so had what I thought could happen covered.

On the day I have to say I was drawn heavily in favour of Galopin Des Champs and had some of the generous super boost price of 9/4 Bet365 had offered as well as a bit more on the exchanges.
