The better ground was supposed to be the far side but all the low drawn horse merged across.

Not sure what Tudhope was doing on the fav, merged more or less the width of the track and then merged back towards the middle. Bizarre plan of action.

Race was ran perfect to suit the winner and great ride from Ryan Moore.

  • Frankie ?
Just be obsevring Frankie this week.

He is not riding the horses out for places, no attempt. Almost dropping the reins and just striding out.

Great jockey in a finish with a winning chance but no use to the each way punter.

I think he may have lost his edge of late.

Every jockey has runs like this but with his age he maybe considering the end.

Great jockey when he is on it though.

  • The Epsom Derby
I think the Derby this year is wide open.

There is nothing I am smitten on.

Of course Desert Crown and Ballydoyle appear the one's to beat.

I have a sneaky suspicion Sonny Liston might run a big race and grab a place or even pull off surprise at big odds of 50/1.

Very sad news, but what a jockey.

We may never witness the type of Lester again.

    God bless him.

peregrine, I suspect your knowledge of horse racing could be written on the back of a postage stamp.

  • Martin Harley
Saddled slipped on the last mount.

Great judge you are comparing Martin to an apprentice.

FYI, he is first choice for Alan King and if he were not able then I can assure you John & Thady Gosden would not book him 100% sure of that.

You have obviously backed him on the Gosden mount and done your money. Now blame the jockey.

Sorry for your loss and bitterness.

  • Martin Harley
    Nothing wrong with Martin Harley.

As for anyone who backed it, it got beat and it happens.

If punters do not want to lose their money then they ought not to bet.
