I think Gavlar looks really well handicapped in that race and a decent e/w price at 16s. Been running in much better races than this one. Prescott’s could be anything but at 11/8 I’d wanna take it on given its stepping up in trip by 3/4 of a mile.

I was on the one in the race before at 6s and it just got home but it was such an open race I couldn’t make it my nap. Did well for one so inexperienced though in a field like that.

Had a look at the e/w extra on the 3:20 with 4 places but “only” paying 45/1 with 365. Will wait and see what the Betfair odds are on place before betting but thanks again for the info and good luck.

As a previous owner where one of ours got no help from the handicapper, it looks like he was hugely lenient here. Consistent big drops like that are rare in my experience.

Nicely done Joe. I was on Fahey’s at 25s in the 8:00; bizarre ride, was well off the pace and then flew home to finish 3rd. Can’t decide whether it was a shocker of a ride but initial reaction was he gave it way too much to do. Typically I was on win only!
