Clearly, the bookies can see that the GN course is far easier than it used to be and on goodish ground I can see more short priced, in-form horses winning in the future so value may shrink further I fear. It was a cavalry charge almost to the end! and I JUST wish I had had the bottle to bet Tiger Roll, still I did 3rd and 4th EW and got my money back! Great horse TR to win 2 GN's.

Wow Finley! My Dad used to do these all the time, amazing how many actually won. Even when he was in hospital he had a 100/1 winner! God rest him, taught me loads about betting. His bet for competitive handicaps was to bet Nrs 3 and 7! Be lucky, I will follow with interest.

Blimey, never saw that Fehilly is retiring! I saw him at Charlie Mann's some years ago, great bloke and some jockey-he did me as I was on Concertista as well-still fair play it was a great finish. Mullins is filling the tanks now! Can he finally win a Gold Cup? :smile:
