    I missed a nice opportunity to make a few dollars in the last race at Ascot today.
    US pari-mutuel pool had the Wesley Ward horse way over bet at 2-1 (12 or 14-1 in UK market)
    Consequently, there was value on some others, including the winner Latin Lover.

    Latin Lover plus 4 or 5 others were grouped as a "field" bet and went off at 10-1.
    Was too late to make a win bet, but I did make some money on a place bet.

    The maximum number of starters in US pari-mutuel pools is 24.
    Any numbers higher than that get grouped together.
    Yes - this is the year 2022!

    Visually inspiral looked very good but the time it won in wasn't any great shakes. Imo a few in this under performed. After dettoris cock ups all week he needed this .
