Group placed and favoured by the weights. Slight question over the trip but not a huge worry for me. Surely go off at shorter odds.
4.20 Smokey Lane 9/2 EW
A bit unlucky lto after poor start finishing half length 2nd to reopposing Beyond Equal. 3Ibs better off with that rival. Has won over CD and well handicapped.
Mutanassiq could well be ready roll after a year off track and having wind op and being gelded. At 7/2 and a question mark over him I can't back him.
If Smokey Lane can start better I think he'll give me a good run for my money.
