Interesting runner for me today. Caught my eye due to running at Pontefract when there is a big meeting on at Ayr today.

The gelding has had 18 career runs, 12 of which have been at Ayr, including all three of his wins.

Is on a dangerous looking mark of 77 (having won handicaps previously off 79 & 75).

Trainer Mike Smith doesn't often venture outside of Scotland with his runners, and this will be his first ever runner at Pontefract, as far as I can see. This will also be the first time that Rossa Ryan has ridden for the trainer.

The jockey is in decent form, riding two winners on Monday. He has a record of one win from one ride at Pontefract. His only other ride today is a 25/1 outsider.

I'm hoping that GLASSES UP is going to be ridden prominently (Pontefract often seen as a front-running track), and is positioned to swoop in the final furlong.
