BEST of the BETS

6:50 Wolverhampton - I have backed a couple of previous course winners here as both are big prices, MALDONADO (14/1) won by 3 lengths from a 4 lbs lower mark over a furlong shorter here in July 2018, his recent form is ok enough having won at Brighton two starts ago. Question mark is the extra furlong but ran ok when 3rd over 10 furlongs at Beverley in July so may be ok. Other one is the mare BELL HEATHER (16/1) who is bit of a course specialist, 4 of her 5 career wins have come here (including at this distance from 1 lb lower mark). Recent form is poor, but last 7 runs have all been at Chester and in better class races. Her close up 5th there in August in a class 4 handicap looks good. Needs to bounce back to form but hopefully she will do so at favourite course, will be particularly interesting if money comes for her.

Also backed a couple of shorter priced ones at Nottingham in an each way double.
