Yeah, I know, although one of those was 5 years ago on debut and he was very well handicapped for the other a couple of years ago. His words not mine and he’s always pretty honest when it comes to his horses’ chances. I’ve followed Andy’s horses for a while though and he prefers it chances with a bit of cut or on good ground.
Out again tomorrow afternoon at Chester (4:25). Ground should suit, drawn ok and looks a fair e/w bet at 11/2 although it’s a very competitive race. Some decent horses suited by soft and/or track in opposition. I’m holding fire before having a bet as there is likely to be more NR’s and ground could change in next 20 hours or so.
