Had a small bet on LARCH HILL (9/2), based on a few favourable trainer stats.

NTD has ok record at Carlisle overall, 19% strike rate (-6 LSP) but improves to 28% strike rate (+6 LSP) when they are ridden by son Sam.

Long absence usually isn’t a problem with this yard, 16% strike rate (+20 LSP) in last 10 years with horses returning from an absence of longer than a year, improves to 20% sr (+33 LSP) if you exclude horses aged 9 and older.

Stable in good form at the moment, with form figures of 31221310 in last fortnight with those priced under 10/1.
