Nearly two weeks without a runner, but three go to Uttoxeter today.
2.45 - Ballyblake has had two runs in Irish points in April & May, pulled up on both occasions and goes straight in to a novice hurdle here. Has schooled well and come on across the summer, so should find more here with the 2m 4f looking sure to suit. Can get in to the places though there are some experienced rivals. Sam Twiston-Davies rides and a good run expected.
3.15 -Equus Miller has had three runs this season winning at Ludlow in May over 2m from a mark of 108 then 4th of 9 at Bangor under 8lbs more over a similar trip. Seemed to appreciate the step up to 2m 4f when second at Ffos Las on 114 after a break and over the same today looks capable of improving and having a good chance on softer ground. Sam aboard and looks to have strong each way credentials.
3.50 - Crievehill had a good season chasing last term with two wins, three seconds and a third from eight outings and makes his seasonal debut here on a career high mark of 139. His final run when second in a good class Field at Haydock was a very good effort and still a 6yo, he has plenty to come. Will be suited by today’s expected ground and conditions and looks to have a solid chance, Sam aboard.
