    I had typed my reasons in detail but then got logged out, so not typing it all again but I have split my stake on two runners here, SALATEEN & CARDSHARP (both priced 11/2).

    O’Meara has a good record in race with 2 wins and 2 runners up from 13 runners in 5 runnings of race. So Beloved also has a chance as previous winner and runner up in this race, but I preferred Salateen (finished 6th in this race twice) because of today’s going as So Beloved is 0 from 14 on g/f. Johnston’s only previous runner in race, although unplaced, ran well, and Cardsharp has course form too having finished 3rd in Group 2 Gimcrack two years ago.

    Small stake as it’s quite an open race with most of these having course form.

    Cardsharp won, Salateen 4th, profit made. Bit unlucky again as I had 2 of them with So Beloved (finished 2nd) in combination tricast.
