Im off to Sandown tonight, nit the greatest vard but its a nice place to be on a hot summers evening

630 Allez Sophia, suprised to get 11/2 which made it an ew bet. Had no hope against a well touted Varian hotpot at Bath lto (yes Bath! thats how how hard its getting to win these days! Top trainers are running million pound horses at gaff tracks just trying to win). But it was the only one to give it a race. Its not a great draw (lower the better on firm at Sandown) and there is a hotpot in the race...but a rae Guest hotpot? I cant have that! how many 2 yo winners does he have? The Haggas horsew looks more a danger but ew at 11/2 makes a small profit if it places

735 Buckingham...another one of Eves. If there were 8 runners id have a good ew bet as its a good placer but 6 runners is hard but its 9/1 and still going ew in the hope its 2nd at worst!
