9 year old LINE OF REASON (5/1) is not one for maximum faith as he has just 1 win from his last 32 races, but he is dropping down to class 4 for first time in over 5 years and does look well handicapped. He has been dropped 12 lbs even since start of the season, his form this season has been a mixed bag but finished in first half of field in 5 out of 9 runs including a couple of places to suggest he still has some ability. He meets his old rival Harry Hurricane, who comes here on back of a c&d win, on 5 lbs better terms than when finishing 9 lengths ahead of him at Glorious Goodwood. Paul Midgley doesn’t send many runners this far to Windsor, and to be honest his record here is not very good with just 1 winner from 15 runners (5 placed), but most of those were younger horses (3-4yo) and there are few similarities with his only winner here - Tylery Wonder who won here around this time last year, he was an 8 year old that hadn’t run here before, and was also out of form and on a long losing run before winning at 4/1, he was also in same ownership as the selection. All of that may not mean anything, but I feel there are enough positives for me to take a little chance at 5/1.
Looking at bigger prices, Joegogo and Benny And The Jets could run well.
