BEST of the BETS

Couple of small bets for me today.

12:40 Aintree - interesting rules debutant in COCONUT SPLASH (12/1), bought for £180,000 after his point to point win in Ireland. Mossy Fen, who also ran in same race, won for me impressively on rules debut earlier this month. Evan Williams does well with this type, hopefully this will run well.

4:30 Wincanton - backed the local runner NOT GOING OUT (16/1) in this. Poor run last time so you will need to forgive that, but earlier form, including 6 lengths 3rd here behind couple of horses now rated in 120s, makes his mark of 107 look very competitive on handicap debut. First time hood could also help. Milton Harris has had regular winners since his return to training, but gone over a month since his last winner, he has had quite a few placers though so trainer form shouldn’t be a worry.
