BEST of the BETS

Think that "Oscars" Best actor category should go to Phoenix if the betting is anything to go by, but IMO the value bet here is Antonio Banderas at a whopping 100/1 with Skybet. It is basically a five runner field and I'm pretty sure that the Phoenix family are not to the flavour of the Academy. Obviously it is a long shot but should the Academy go left-field, and they do this once in a while, then there could be some surprise winners. Similarly, the best film category should go to Parasite best price 9/2, but the fact that it is a Korean film, so subtitled, will count against it. That's not to say it can't win in a year of "upsets". Put it this way ... there are worst 100/1 and 9/2 pokes running and losing everyday so I'm on these two.
