first let me explain how my stupidy came about.
after filling out my 7 selections which included
one ruler and after the rain.
magical morning kept nagging away at me, it had been placed at good odds
on it's last 3 outings so i decided to change my selections.
i erased the wrong horse and ended up with 2 horses in the same race.
what i was wondering was what sort of ruling would cover this scenario.
there's no reason you would have noticed as mm was never entered in
the 4.40 so there was no NR notice.
do not want any altering of scores would just like
to hear your opinion.( or anyones opinion)
to save quite a few i'll put up my opinion first "what a plonker"
Hi Brian, I did not notice even though I did watch the racing yesterday.
I score by just scrolling down the results next to the selections so you are right if the horse doesn't appear in the results or as a NR then it would be scored as 0.
I think we will have to score this as a 0 otherwise a player could just write down any name for a race and get a default selection. The default rule was brought in by popular demand to give a player a selection when their choice was a NR which is fair enough. Different rule though for P2P comps though as if you have paid an entry fee you will get a runner in every race to avoid any controversy.
