Too far off the pace when they quickened.

Yeah Ribot, looked to me like it was going through the motions tonight.

Had the draw to sit up on the pace but chose to drop in and off the pace.

Pace was nothing too quick tonight and this would be a recipe for disaster and never able to trouble the first few home. Finished 7th :sad:

Also, on this pace/grade would benefit from an extra furlong maybe. Worth watching.

He'd won over the course and distance, so I don't think further is required. He just needs to be ridden a little more handily. Costello rode him to win at Kempton back in October and had him in midfield. A little different to tonight's effort! As you say, worth watching.
