Hi Im Imformed, yes I know he has won in class 5 here, but it was by a nose and his only win from 15 runs in class 5 handicaps. I am not laying it because the price is too big now, but if it was favourite I would have taken my chance on percentages.

Thanks guys. Yes I was hoping they would make Kommander Kirkup the favourite and I would definitely lay it, wins in class 6 but not a good record in 5.

I was going to start a thread to ask thoughts about Monks Stand but seen both of you mention it here. I fancied it before the gamble from 25/1 down to 9/1, as it is 3 from 3 over this c&d and 6 lbs lower than last of those wins, but he has failed to beat a single horse on his last 6 starts. So my question was would you still back a horse like that at its current price?

Orchardstown Cross smashed into 2/1 from 14/1 and traded at about 1/20 in running but still managed to lose. Not a day for gambles it seems.

No good, traded at odds on in running but dropped to 4th in the end.

Scott’s first runner of the day has been smashed into 7/2 from 33/1 hmmm.

I think class dropper Swift Approval, who has been dropped 2 lbs since his c&d 4th earlier in the month, should go close.

Another tricky day with big fields and the favourite prices are bigger than I would like, but have taken the plunge anyway.

1:30 Warwick - Wisecracker layed at 4.0

12 race maiden, although he is consistent he doesn’t seem to have the pace to win races. It is a weak race, but so were the last two races he contested, hopefully he will find one too good again.

Good spot with Paddy Brennan, I will keep an eye on it.

Nothing today. Slanelough in 12:55 was the one I wanted to oppose today but it’s too risky at the price and better option may be to back Scorpion Sid instead. In the 2:30, Volcano certainly looks underpriced at the moment but it’s dangerous to oppose NTD’s 4 year olds against older horses, so I have decided not to get involved today.

Your liability will be £17.50 in this case. If it loses then you get £10 minus the commission which is around 5%. Think of it like you are the bookie and other people are betting with you.

Not sure if Bet365 offer enhanced places in a multiple bet. I know Betfair don’t, which is a shame.
