Didn’t watch the race, but Ragnar beaten a long way and Canal Rocks a non runner. I seem to have got the draw badly wrong as four highest stalls filled first 5 places. Does anyone know if there was a late going change? On results it’s still showing as good going, but non runners and winning distances suggest it was anything but good.

Thanks mate. No match for the winner, but she ran pretty well to hang on to 3rd place, so little bit of profit.

Here’s what I am thinking. Have the competition for about 4-6 big race days each month, I wouldn’t be able to score more days than that. Chosen meetings can be either only Irish ones, or we can mix with UK to have half Irish meetings and half from UK. It will probably still be 1 selection from each race like TTC, but instead of points I am proposing that people can stake say £10 on each selection and more on nap etc. It will mean more work for the scorer working out returns, but I don’t mind doing it as long as it’s only few days a month. And then maybe after a couple of months, we can have a final (either in league format or knockout) of all the individual winners. This is just a rough idea, finer details can be worked out after we know there is enough interest.

Thanks, Stevie. Poor today, no show at all from Requinto Dawn after the drift in betting. Shepherds Purse ran better, and looked sure to place after going 2.58 in running but lost several places at the finish to end up 5th I think.

If there is enough interest, I wouldn’t mind running a competition for big Irish meetings, or maybe a mixture of Irish and UK meetings, but with a different format to usual TTC.
