Thanks Maxh. Poor day today though with 2 short ones getting beaten, only the 2/7 shot obliged.

Little bit of profit on the day, any profit is better than losing I suppose. Main selection ran very well to finish 2nd at 9/1, traded as low as 6/4 in running but didn’t find as much as looked likely against the long odds on shot, won more for 2nd place than I would have for backing the winner. Thundering Nights won at 11/8, Spinacia 2nd at 7/2, Ritchie Valens was the only disappointment despite coming in for support before the off. More or less broke even on the e/w yankee.

Royal Aide (10/3) the only winner, Sienna Dream 3rd, so only got about a 1/3 of my stake back. Maybe bit unlucky with Gun Merchant narrowly missing out on a place and Dollar Value not even placed despite going as short as 11/10 in running to win the race, if those two placed it would have made a big difference.

Both of today’s won, short prices though - evens & 4/9.

On Sunday it drew a blank, yesterday from the two that ran, one won at 15/8.

I didn’t post today, partly because they were big prices and I didn’t think they will do well. I have only just checked the results and sods law 3 out of 4 won. Not aftertiming as I didn’t have a penny on them and am kicking myself as it would have made a nice yankee.
