Thanks Stevie, glad I didn't pile in on the AP.
  • Anyone get the e mail
That was a good spot on H de O, still classier than a veteran.
  • 1:10 Plumpton
Prices all gobbled up ... too late! It is a monster tbh, but I don't think I'll plunge in at 7/1

Macaire says Scilly Isles at Sandown followed by a non 3m chase at Cheltenham for the bonus. Looks like JLT I guess. Get on early!
  • 1:10 Plumpton
Is on for the Cheltenham bonus. Not at Plumpton for nothing despite already having won €650,000 !!! Could be a great story like Nupsala and The Fellow etc!!!!

R2 Very interesting race. Moore top weight horse under a penalty but improving. Strangely a top French hurdler is here under trainer Macaire who we see often at Pompadour not Plumpton! It is a twinned track though so good for publicity. Macaire is head and shoulders above any trainer here today having won huge prizes in France. Here to see if good enough for a tilt at Cheltenham. Irish runner too with Elliott and McManus owner and did well hurdling so also interesting. Slate House was a big talk horse for Tizzard, is good but disappointed often. Onefortheroadtom shouldn't be good enough but if you say that Moore's has too much weight, the French horse flops and Slate House under performs which is all possible then has a squeak at a tasty price. Goodmanpat may need the run.

We won the ATR competition for 2 people hospitality at Plumpton today and an overnight stop in a posh country hotel with dinner! My daughter is going with her fiancé. I fancy Big Meadow but also want to point out that The Tin Miner apart from the rag and the bottom weight is still off the same mark as last time out at the track where I was attending. Although a front runner and perhaps not appearing to get home lto I still think it is on the up and has the Scud up instead of Cannon. There is a price at which this horse is def backable as it was heavily supported into 2/1 fav last time. Noted also Cannon up for the Hawke horse here. I think Bridgwater uses Scud when available over Cannon. so that may be a pointer.
  • Is Hogan's on the job 15.00 Punchestown?
Don't shoot the messenger... who knows what Hogan was up to ... probably going for the E/W but may have been paid off, happy days for the staff either way!
  • bit of politics for a change - well thought and researched article on this treachery occuring

What worries me about the whole affair is that "the great unwashed" were manipulated by a group of offshore billionaires into thinking that what they thought they thought ... if that makes sense, à la Stevie's comment above from Heath .. (no offfence meant Stevie, as I don't know whether or not you fall into the "great unwashed" camp or the billionaires), hoping to keep their dirty, laundered money outside of the EU tax directive coming into force in 2019! LOL! That is all it was about actually when you drill down.
