I had Allaho NRNB for Cheltenham GC this year at 20/1. I think I'd take that if offered next year LOL, but I agree, a horse to cruise the way Allaho does and get the 3.2m at an undulating course such as Cheltenham would be unheard of, it's not as if it is a good gorund horse, thinking Mr.Frisk, which if I recall cruised round Aintree and broke the record without getting out of a canter.

Agusta Gold to get back to form which saw it go off fav for the Irish National.

Good thread. I tend to make a few quid on stealing a bit of value backing placed Group 1 flat horses dropping into Group 2 and coming up against improving Group 3 and top handicapper. I am happy to take around 6/4 to 2/1 if I perceive their true prices to be around 8/11 - evens. There aren't that many in a season, but they do exist.

Discorama, must win sometime. Sharjah is interesting as best rated, but may be too soft. Tricasting Mullins 3 in the Mares, Elfie is perhaps unexposed. Trainwreck nicely weighted but just a pinprick. Smoking Gun, again disappointing fav lto, and I believe fancied by the yard.

It's already been diluted with filler races, again this is just to line the sponsors' pockets and detracts from the spectacle; Remember how compact and nice the 3 day festival used to be?
