BEST of the BETS

I can’t pick a winner at the moment, so treat these with caution.

Ascot - Nicky Henderson is the man to follow here and I am sure he will get some winners, but Harry Fry has a very good record at this meeting (7 winners and 2 placers from 13 runners, +13 LSP), so I donlike the chances of Onefortheroadtom in the opener.

Away from Ascot, I see Aidan Coleman is at Ffos Las and not Ascot where he has a good record. Only twice in last 10 years he has skipped Friday of this meeting for other meetings, in 2013 he got 1 winner from 2 and last year at Ffos Las he got 2 from 3. Let’s see what happens today.

I have started with an each way trixie for first 3 races at Ascot with the following, and will have small interest in Coleman’s rides at Ffos Las.
